Coming November to March
Red Lake Pop-Up Playground
A one-of-a-kind recreational experience for Red Lake region families!
Free programming throughout the winter · Cochenour Hall, 1 William Street, Red Lake, ON
Following an incredible response to our summer tour,
we are returning for a five-month winter pilot.
This isn't your typical playground or recreation program!
During our summer visit, we transformed RLDHS gym into an exciting, interactive playground featuring Ninja Warrior courses, parkour flip zones, aerial/circus sensory activities, baby & toddler exploration and immersive adventures that brought the characters from their video games to life.

Alex Gagnon
I spent part of my youth living in Balmertown and Cochenour, so returning to the region has personal meaning. But it was the extraordinary demand, community feedback and local support during our summer visit that makes this winter pilot possible.
I bring years of certified training and instruction in ninja warrior, circus arts, parkour, tricking, trampoline, calisthenics and adaptable fitness—with a focus on joyful, inclusive experiences for all ages and abilities. I saw so much potential in the kids for these this summer.
On top of unique play and game experiences, this pilot serves as a test run to explore the potential for Red Lake youth to compete in non-traditional sports.
